Program Objectives
The Geomatics Engineering Technologies program aims to prepare highly qualified technical engineers with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to contribute effectively to the fields of geomatics and geospatial technologies. The program objectives include:
- Awarding the Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Geomatics Engineering Technologies and preparing competent Technical Engineers capable of using, designing, operating, and maintaining modern systems and technologies in the fields of surveying, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
- Strengthening engagement with the community by organizing specialized scientific courses and continuing education programs in various geomatics disciplines, thereby enhancing the knowledge and professional skills of personnel working in engineering, surveying, and geospatial sectors.
- Providing technical and engineering consultancy services for projects related to surveying, digital mapping, spatial database development, and planning and development projects through the application of modern geospatial technologies.
- Conducting scientific research in various fields of geomatics, with particular emphasis on applied research that keeps pace with scientific and technological advancements and contributes to developing practical solutions to engineering challenges at both the local and international levels
