Learning Environment and Course Assessment

The Master’s Program in Thermal Engineering Technologies is delivered in English and adopts a blended learning approach that combines face-to-face instruction with technology-enhanced learning, providing students with an effective environment for developing advanced knowledge and skills in the field.

Assessment of taught courses is based on a combination of coursework, mid-semester examinations, and final examinations, in addition to the evaluation of the master’s thesis. To successfully complete the coursework stage, students are required to pass thirteen courses, equivalent to a total of 26 credit units.

Students who fail one or more courses are eligible to take a second-attempt examination in accordance with the applicable postgraduate regulations. To progress beyond the coursework stage, students must achieve a minimum overall average of 70% across the two academic semesters. Failure to meet this requirement is considered a failure of the coursework stage.
