Educational Objectives

General Objectives

    1. Provide students with fundamental scientific and theoretical knowledge in applied mechanics, mechanical design, and energy systems.
    2. Qualify students to use modern engineering software (CAD/CAM/CAE) for the design, analysis, and simulation of mechanical systems.
    3. Develop students’ practical and laboratory skills in manufacturing, machine operation, and mechanical maintenance.
    4. Equip students with the ability to analyze engineering problems, diagnose faults, and propose suitable practical solutions.
    5. Build students’ capacity to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage small and medium-sized projects.
    6. Reinforce commitment to engineering professional ethics and occupational and environmental safety standards.
    7. Develop technical communication skills and the ability to prepare engineering reports and presentations in Arabic and English.
    8. Instill a spirit of lifelong learning and awareness of recent technological developments in applied mechanics engineering.
