Learning Outcomes

 

Upon successful completion of the Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering Technologies program, students will have acquired the following skills and abilities to effectively perform their professional duties:

  • Robust Engineering Foundation Possessing deep knowledge of chemical and petroleum industries engineering sciences, and building a strong foundation and practical experience that enables them to solve complex operational problems in refineries and chemical facilities.
  • Effective Technical Communication and Analysis The ability to effectively describe and diagnose chemical and petroleum engineering problems, analyze laboratory and industrial data, develop and evaluate potential solutions, and efficiently present results using oral, written, and electronic communication methods.
  • Ethics and Environmental Awareness A complete understanding of the ethical and professional responsibilities of engineering work, and an awareness of the impact of adopted engineering and technical solutions on society and the local and global environment, while working to reduce emissions and pollution
