The Educational Program of the Department of Medical Instrumentation Techniques Engineering is designed to achieve a set of distinctive educational objectives that directly contribute to the learning outcomes of its graduates. Upon successful completion of the program, students are expected to demonstrate the following competencies:

Knowledge of Medical Materials and Methods
Demonstrate a solid understanding of medical materials, techniques, and procedures, including their properties, advantages, limitations, and applications in healthcare environments. -
Knowledge of Medical Devices
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the operation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe use of medical devices and equipment. -
Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Drawings
Read, interpret, and utilize technical drawings, engineering schematics, service manuals, and equipment documentation, including dimensions, sectional views, and detailed technical specifications. -
Communication and Teamwork
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, clients, and medical equipment users while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare and engineering teams. -
Safety Awareness
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in healthcare environments, including hazards associated with high-voltage electrical systems, patient handling, infection control, biological hazards, and the safe operation of specialized medical equipment such as radiological devices.
